The modified OM instrument is deeply influenced by the guitars and voicing techniques of Ervin Somogyi. Tony studied soundboard voicing and guitar design with Ervin in November 2010 and designed this model during this period.
The instrument is of very light construction with double laminate sides. Designed for use as a finger style guitar, it is very responsive to the slightest nuance of the player with a well defined bass response, good separation and a shimmering treble.
Slightly larger than the classic American OM with a lower bout width of 405mm and a body depth of 110mm.
